Audio Technica was founded in Japan on 17th April 1962 by Hideo Matsushita and to this day are headquartered in Tokyo Japan. In their 60 years of operation they have established themselves as a titan of the audio industry producing incredibly compelling turntables and styli that are used across multitudes of other turntable brands as well as producing a line of headphones that are loved by audio enthusiasts the world over.
