Limited colored vinyl LP pressing in gatefold jacket. Blood is the fourth studio album by heavy metal band In This Moment, originally released in 2012. The album has a different sound, dropping many of the traditional metalcore elements in favor of electronic samples and further experimentation. This is the band's first album to be certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. After over a year of touring to support their third studio album, A Star-Crossed Wasteland, the band was ready to start work on their upcoming fourth record. Lead vocalist Maria Brink revealed that this album would be darker and the first time the band would be working with outside musicians.
